Its not up to them, so much as it is their TMS - I believe Ford uses Brassring. 95% or more of all applications are automatically scanned for key words, then rejected by the software without any human eyes ever seeing them. The 5% or so that do make it through to a person will usually be given a pretty fair shake.

I had a friend that was flown to Dearborn for an interview last year, they were pretty serious about him. He didn't go into detail about why he wasn't hired, but I have to suspect it was because he had to talk as part of the interview and he doesn't always present very well.
